Our store offers flowers for Valentine’s Day, cookies and cakes, award winning hot sauces, beef and turkey jerky and an array of picnic baskets and other picnic items. You can send gifts along with a gift message directly from our store to a recipient and every purchase generates a donation. The donation amount is even displayed right there on the image and all donations go directly to Discovery Arts.

Concert under the stars at Art Six Coffee House to benefit Discovery Arts
On Thursday October 20th, Art Six Coffee House in Denton, TX will hosted a benefit concert for the non-profit Discovery Arts, featuring an exciting roster of local musicians. Discovery Arts is a 501(c)(3) non-profit that brings music, art, dance and drama to children who are in the hospital receiving treatment for cancer and other life threatening illnesses. Plans are currently underway to bring ‘Art Adventures’ to Medical City Children's Hospital in Dallas.
‘Music For A Cause’ featured the musical talents of Paul Putman, Regine Kalala and Katie Puryear, band members Scott Hoying, Mitch Grassi, and Kirstin Maldonado of Pentatonix, who are currently competing on “The Sing Off” on NBC, as well as, the UNT Glee Club.
The concert was promoted by Discovery Arts’ Texas Program Coordinator, Katie Cline. Plans are under way to bring Discovery Arts ‘Arts Adventures’ to children in Dallas who are battling life threatening illnesses. “The arts are an escape. It gives these very sick children a sense of normalcy that they are completely robbed of when they face the monster of cancer. Most adults can hardly fathom facing this demon... when a child is forced to grow up almost over night, it causes great need for emotional expression and stability. Discovery Arts brings joy, hope, and laughter through the power of the arts and imagination.”, said Katie Cline.

On September 27th, we will be riding on the Carousel of Possible Dreams at South Coast Plaza, Costa Mesa, CA to raise $10,000 in support of Arts Adventures for 100 children with life threatening illnesses. I have taken on the challenge to jump on the carousel and help my team raise resources for this important event. With your support, our team can do it!
Discovery Arts provides the healing power of the arts to children with cancer and other life threatening illnesses while they are hospitalized for treatment. Our programs, called Arts Adventures, are fun, creative adventures in music, dance, art and drama that strengthen the emotional health of critically ill children and positively impact their treatment and recovery. All of our programs and services are offered free of charge to the hospitals, patients and their families.
Our Possible Dream is to be able to provide additional new "Arts Adventures" for 100 children with cancer in southern California. Our fundraising goal is $10,000 (or more!), which will help provide additional new Arts Adventures Programs to the children hospitalized at six different southern California hospitals. With your help, we can continue to provide the joy and healing benefits of the arts to many more critically ill children.

The Springfield branch of Discovery Arts will be holding fundraiser in Hollister, MO!!!
We
are in need of local artists willing to donate their art work for a
silent art auction that will be held at Vintage Paris in Hollister, MO.
All of the proceeds will go 100% to Discovery Arts, a charity that
brings the healing power of music, art, drama, and dance to children who
are in the hospital with serious illnesses. Funds raised will directly benefit the children of St John's Children Hospital in Springfield, MO.
The Art Auction will take place at Vintage Paris Coffee and Wine on Saturday March 19, 2011 beginning at 4PM CMT.
Whether you are an artist wanting to donate art, or someone willing to attend the art auction and buy some beautiful local art, we would love to have you!! There will be slide shows of the Discovery Arts program, live music from touring artist Paul Putman, and as always your favorite drinks from Vintage Paris.

Discovery Arts' Beloved Art Director Jeff Marshall
It is with a heavy heart that we share the news of the passing of our Beloved Art Director Jeff Marshall.
Jeff Marshall Sr. passed away on Friday March 11, 2011 from a heart attack. His family and friends are saddened and shocked by his sudden passing. "Please keep our family in your prayers. Our hearts are broken. He was a wonderful man. He loved the Lord, and we are only comforted by the fact that he is now in His arms." , said his sister and Discovery Arts' Program Manager Nancy Marshall. Details on his incredible life and memorial services coming soon.
